I love that childhood is all about adventure and exploration. Children live in a beautiful innocence that allows them to see the world with a newness that we slowly lose as we grow up. Shooting family sessions are so important for the families to document their children growing and becoming the humans they are going to be - but its also good for me too. For me to see the beautiful hugeness of the world - beyond the height of the trees and the depth of the water, but instead seeing the possibilities of what life is like with a little more adventure thrown in there.
